Description
This is a milestone located on a ridgeway track, dated 1750. It is made of limestone and measures approximately 1 meter by 400 millimeters by 250 millimeters, featuring a wave-curve top. The milestone has an incised inscription that reads, "XXI/MILES/FROM SARUM/XCIX/FROM/LONDON/1750." It lies in a field next to a fence and is part of a series of milestones on a now abandoned route.
