Description
Furze Patch is a detached cottage located in West Knoyle, dating from the early 19th century. The cottage is constructed of rendered cob and features a thatched roof with coped verges and brick stacks at the gable ends. It is two stories high and has three windows. On the ground floor, there is a planked door to the left and French windows to the right, along with three pointed two-light casements. A 20th-century conservatory has been added but is not considered of special interest. The first floor includes three two-light pointed casements, with the left one retaining its original hexagonal leading. To the right, there is a 20th-century single-storey extension designed in the same style with a thatched roof. At the rear, there is a 19th-century lean-to kitchen featuring a tiled roof and steel casements.
