Description
Wootton Fields Farm is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of brick with a slate roof. The building has an L-shaped plan, consisting of two bays in the main block with a dividing stack and a cross wing that also has two bays. The entrance is located at the junction of the main block and the wing, leading to a 20th-century stair block at the rear. The entrance features a six-panelled door set in a stone doorcase with a gabled pediment. The facade is rendered to resemble ashlar and includes margin glazed sash windows, with major windows having sidelights. The bargeboards are shaped and perforated. Notably, the room on the first floor to the right was formerly used for cheese storage.
