Description
Little Cotmarsh Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse constructed of rendered stone with a slate roof that is quarter hipped to the right. The main range consists of four bays, which is parallel and set back from the road. Inside, there are two rooms divided by a stack, with an additional stack at the left end. At the right rear, there is a contemporary lower wing that has one and a half bays, built in a similar style and originally containing service rooms, which has been further extended by one bay. The farmhouse features 20th-century timber casement windows. The interior boasts deep chamfered cross beams with swept ends in the left end room. The roof includes deep sectioned principal rafters, slightly cambered collars, ridge, and butt purlins.
