Description

The forecourt piers to St Mary's Congregational Church are located on the southwest side of Northgate Street. Although the original railings and gates that enclosed the forecourt are no longer present, four rendered piers remain. These piers feature cusped panelling and have four-sided gable caps, each adorned with a trefoil. St Mary's Congregational Church, along with Nos 19 and 20, Sandcliffe, and Northgate House, form a group of buildings.
