Description

No. 6 Northgate Street is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall and is constructed from Bath stone. The ground floor features horizontal rustication, while a string course runs along the first floor level. The building is topped with a moulded cornice, a blocking course, and a slate roof. On the first floor, there are three windows, and on the ground floor to the left, there is a recessed six-panel central door with an incised panel above it. To the right, there is a three-centred arched yard entry. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 18 (consecutive) and all the listed buildings on the southwest side of the Market Place.
