Description
Calcote Farm Cottage is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been converted into a farm cottage. It features a timber frame that is rendered at the front and has a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic but has been raised to two storeys. It has two bays and a lobby entry plan with a central stack. The framing consists of three panels high with corner braces, and the framing above the collar level has been rebuilt with lighter framing to accommodate the raised roof. The central door is located under a tiled pent roof, which has been extended to cover the right window. The cottage has timber casement windows. The interior has not been seen.
