Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 16th to 17th century. It is constructed of colourwashed brick with some timber framing and features a thatched roof. The building has two storeys and consists of three bays, with a two-bay cross wing at the east end and an added kitchen bay to the west. The entrance is located in the narrow central bay behind the main stack, featuring a six-panelled door with a propped bracketed canopy. There are 19th-century three and four-light casement windows, which have external recessed shutters on the gable of the wing. The wing also includes a lateral stone stack with a chamfered offset at first floor level and a canted bay window at the front. Inside, there is a blocked fireplace in the main stack to the right of the stair hall, which is now used as a dining room, and deep chamfered ceiling beams in the drawing room located in the wing. The upper floor and roof have not been seen.
