Description

This milestone, located approximately 290 meters south of Middle Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is made of painted stone and has a half-cylinder shape with a grooved top. The original inscription is illegible as it has been overpainted, but it displays the legend "SWINDON 10 DEVIZES 10 MILES."
