Description

The green monument in the churchyard, located 22 meters south of the south porch of the Church of St. John, is an early 18th-century chest tomb made of limestone. It features a chamfered table with inscribed sides set between plain end slabs. The tomb commemorates Elizabeth Green of Castrop, who died in 1720.
