Description
The green monument located in the churchyard, about 14 meters east of the east end of the Church of St. Andrew, is a short chest tomb dating from 1789. It is made of stone and features a flat lid with a moulded edge and slightly indented corners on the long sides. The main sides have raised rectangular panels with moulded edges, while the ends are adorned with gadrooned pilasters. At the west end, there is an urn on a stem, and at the east end, there are crossed inverted torches. The monument has a moulded base and commemorates John Green, with various later inscriptions added.
