Description

The Green family memorial is a chest tomb located about 3 yards west of the Church of St Michael and All Angels. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth and slightly ridged capping, with corner piers that have recessed cusped panels and shaped inscription panels. The south panel commemorates John Green, who died in 1820, and Mary Green, who died in 1827. The other panels honor members of the Green family up to the year 1915.
