Description

The Green memorial is a chest tomb located about 10 metres south-east of the Church of St Michael in Cofton Hackett. It commemorates Thomas Green, who died in 1807, along with others. The tomb is made of ashlar stone and features wrought iron railings. It has a sarcophagus design with a moulded cornice and a ridged, hipped capping. Surrounding the tomb is a rectangular railed enclosure, which includes pine cone finials on the standards and fleurs-de-lys on the rails.
