Description
Manor Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse that has been converted into a detached house. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick with chamfered stone quoins on the front and features a hipped Welsh slate roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. The building is designed in an L-shape and is two stories tall with an attic, featuring five windows across the front.
The central entrance door has six reeded panels and a segmental-headed transom light above it, with two segmental-headed wooden leaded cross windows on either side. The first floor includes a stone plat band and five segmental-headed wooden cross windows. A moulded stone eaves cornice runs along the roof, which has one gabled dormer and two flat-headed dormers with two-light casements.
On the left side, the garden front displays leaded segmental-headed cross windows. The right side is constructed of rubble stone and has attached single-storey outbuildings with a pantiled roof and two-light windows. At the rear, the main range features two-light segmental-headed casements and cross windows, along with a single-storey 20th-century addition that includes an entrance. The rear wing on the right has cross windows and a two-storey rubble stone addition with casements. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in November 1986.
