ZEALS LOWER ZEALS ST 73 SE (west side) 6/192 Manor Farmhouse 6.1.66 GV II

Farmhouse, now detached house. Mid C18. Flemish bond brick with chamfered stone quoins to front, hipped Welsh slate roof with gable end brick stacks. L-plan. Two-storey and attic, 5-window. Central door with 6 reeded panels and segmental-headed transom light, two segmental-headed wooden leaded cross windows either side. First floor has stone plat band and five segmental-headed wooden cross windows. Moulded stone eaves cornice, roof with one gabled dormer and two flat-headed dormers with 2 light casements. Left return, garden front has leaded segmental-headed cross windows. Right return is rubble stone with attached single-storey outbuildings with pantiled roof and 2-light windows. Rear of main range has 2-light segmental-headed casements and cross windows, single-storey C20 addition with entrance. Rear wing to right has cross windows, 2-storey rubble stone addition with casements. Interior not accessible at time of survey (November 1986).
