Description
Manor Farmhouse is a former farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the early 18th century, with some mid to late 19th-century alterations. The building is constructed of roughly squared, coursed stone with ashlar quoins and features a stone slate roof.
The entrance front has three windows and is one room deep, standing two storeys tall. There is a central rear wing that is one bay and one and a half storeys high. The entrance facade includes a boarded door that is accessed by one stone step, with a rectangular light above it and a flat stone lintel. On either side of the door are three-light mullioned windows with slightly projecting sills and leaded lights. Above the entrance, there is a central two-light window flanked by three-light windows on each side, all matching the style below.
The house features projecting gable chimneys that taper at the eaves level, with low stacks above the ridge. On the right side of the building, there are single-light windows to the right of the chimney on both floors. The rear wing, which is set back, has a three-light mullioned window with a plain chamfer and a two-light mullioned window in the stone gable above it. There is a plain chimney on the right gable. Additionally, there are single-storey 20th-century rear wings that are not of special interest.
