Description
Little Fields is a former farmhouse that has been converted into a house, dating from the late 18th century. The building is constructed from thin coursed, squared stone with ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof. It has a three-window front and is one room deep, standing at 2 ½ storeys high, with a single-storey rear wing.
The main facade has a boarded front door located at the center, which has a plain chamfered opening and a stone lintel. Above the door is a cantilevered, hipped porch. On either side of the door, there are three-light mullioned windows, which have late 20th-century metal opening lights, similar to the other windows in the building.
On the first floor, there is a 2-light mullioned window in the center, flanked by three-light windows on each side. The roof features two dormers with 2-light casements, and the parapet gables have chimneys that were rebuilt in the late 20th century, with plain caps. Additionally, there is an oven projection on the left return of the building.
