Description

The dovecote located to the northwest of Zeals House is likely from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a tiled pyramidal roof with a central wooden louvre. The structure is square and single-storey. Both the east and west sides have planked doors, with the west side also displaying pierced wooden pigeon holes above the door and a dentilled brick eaves cornice. Inside, the walls are lined with stone pigeon boxes, and there are two queen-post roof trusses.
