Description
April Cottage is a row of three cottages dating from the 18th century, located in Collingbourne Ducis. The cottages are constructed from rendered flint and chalkstone and feature thatched roofs. They are single storey with an attic.
No. 118, situated in the left bay, has been extended by half a bay in brick and includes a gable stack. It has a boarded door and paned timber windows, along with one flush dormer. No. 119 consists of two bays and has an attached thatched porch, timber windows, and two flush dormers. April Cottage, which is set back from the two left cottages, has two bays and a one-bay rear wing that contains the entrance at the junction. It features timber windows with leaded glazing and two flush dormers. The right gable of April Cottage has a blocked arch that once served as an oven.
