Description

Pennybourne Cottage is a house that has been converted into two cottages. It dates from the 17th century and was altered in the 18th century. The building features diaper brickwork and has a thatched roof. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and consists of three bays. There are two boarded doors with simple porches, one of which is located opposite the main stack for No 98. The windows are timber casements, and there are three flush dormers. A 20th-century rear wing has been added to No 99. The roof is half hipped, and the left gable displays exposed timber framing. Additionally, there is a two-storey rear wing from the 19th century attached to No 98, which has a central stack.
