Description
This is a cottage dating from the 17th century or early 18th century, constructed with facing brickwork in stretcher bond on a flint and brick base, topped with a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of two bays, featuring an added brick lean-to extension beyond the main stack on the right side. The main living area is a heated hall with an inner room. There is a central door that is lateral to the living room, which is half glazed and set within a weatherboarded porch. The cottage has 19th-century timber casement windows with segmental headed openings, and there is a vitrified flush string above the right window. It also includes two flush dormers. The added store has a boarded door and a four-paned window. The roof is hipped and features a tall stack.
