Description
Sunton Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century, constructed of brick laced flint with a thatched roof. It is a single storey and attic building, elevated above the pavement, and features two bays. The entrance consists of a boarded door with a glazed panel located at the left end, opposite the main stack. The windows are timber with panes, refurbished in the early 20th century, including a three-light window in the main living room and three two-light windows in the right bay. There are two flush dormers on the roof. A large external stack made of chalkstone and flint, with brick, is situated on the right side, and the flue has been rebuilt. The cottage has a thatched lean-to that extends from the hipped roof, and the eaves are offset with brick. To the left, there is a flint outbuilding that is timber framed with a gable. The interior has not been seen.
