Description

This is an 18th-century farmhouse, now a house, located on the north side of High Street in Purton. The building is roughcast with a stone slate roof. It has two storeys and three wide bays. The central entrance features a four-panelled door with a radial decorative fanlight, set within an open, pedimented stone doorcase. There are twelve-pane sash windows with painted stone surrounds. A small window is positioned to the right of the door, and a round closet window is on the upper floor. The eaves are brick dentilled. The roof is hipped, with stacks at the rear of the building. A two-bay rear wing is also present.
