Description

This is a house located on Pew Lane in Chippenham, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with dressed quoins and features a Welsh slate roof with brick end stacks. The building has a two-room plan with a rear outshot and stands two storeys high, presenting a two-window range on the front. Above the entrance, there is a quasi-escutcheon set in a niche. The doorway is sheltered by a hipped porch and has a plank door. The windows are two-light mullioned types with arched lights, small-paned casements, and hoodmoulds. The interior has not been inspected.
