Description

Hillside is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with some ashlar dressings and features a Welsh-slate roof with brick gable stacks. The building has a 2-unit outshut plan with a subsidiary range and stands two storeys plus an attic high. The front has a regular arrangement of two windows, with ashlar quoins and flat arches, featuring small 4-pane sash windows and a glazed entrance located to the left of centre. The left end of the house includes an outshut, while the rear outshut connects to a lower rear wing on the right and contains the current main entrance. The interior has not been inspected.
