Description
Talbot Cottage and Ash House are two houses, likely once divided, dating from the 18th century. They are constructed of limestone rubble with wooden lintels and feature a Stonesfield-slate roof with brick stacks. The buildings form an L-shaped range and are one storey plus an attic. The front facade has five gabled dormers, six casement windows, and entrances for both houses, with the entrance to Talbot Cottage aligned with a stack. The roof is hipped to the right and extends to the rear wing of Ash House, which includes three additional dormers. Stacks are positioned at intervals along the bays. The interiors have not been inspected.
