Description
Nos. 11, 12, and 13 on The Hamlet are a row of three cottages dating from the mid-19th century, part of a larger group of 17 cottages along the road. They are built from coursed limestone rubble and feature a triple-Roman tile roof with a moulded brick ridge stack, showcasing a Vernacular Revival style. The cottages are three storeys high and have a symmetrical three-window arrangement. The openings have segmental arches, with 20th-century windows and doors. Each of the three full-height forward-facing gables includes a single-light attic window at the apex, while the first floor originally had two-light windows and the ground floor had three-light windows. One of the first-floor windows, a two-light, two-pane casement, remains on the left side. Nos. 11 and 13 have entrances on the side, while No. 12 has a central door. The interior has not been inspected.
