Description

The dovecote at West Kennett Farm dates from the 16th to 17th century. It is constructed from sarsen stone with limestone flush quoins and chalkstone inner facings. The structure has no roof and features a low door on the north side. Inside, there are fourteen tiers of nest holes, totaling approximately 540 holes, along with a flight ledge positioned midway up the wall.
