Description

The front railings and gates to West Kennett House date from the late 18th century to early 19th century and are made of iron. The railings feature javelin pointed tops and are set on brick walls. The gates match the railings and include urn finials, with arrow-headed dog rails that are looped together. There is a second pair of gates located at the east end of the garden. Additionally, there are later brick piers topped with stone hipped copings. These railings and gates are an important addition to the house.
