Description
Manor Farm House is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the 17th century with an early 18th century front and early 19th century features. It is constructed from sarsen stone with brick dressings and has a tiled roof. The building has two storeys, an attic, and a cellar, and is arranged in three bays. Notable exterior features include raised quoins, a moulded stone string course, and a plinth. The eaves are set out with brick. A central wide Tuscan portico leads to a six-panelled door. The ground floor has paired margin glazed sash windows with segmental brick lintels, while single sash windows are above, including a round-headed window over the portico with a bead-moulded stone architrave. To the right is an earlier two-bay rear wing, and there is a stack on the right gable. The interior has not been seen but includes an early 19th century staircase.
