Description
The Miles Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 3 metres south of the tower of the Church of St. James. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a wide plinth with two recessed panels on each side, fielded pilasters at the centre and corners, and a moulded flat top. It commemorates John Miles, who died in 1776.
