Description

SHREWTON AMESBURY ROAD, Rollestone SU 04 SE (off west side) 3/226 Miles monument in the churchyard, about 5 metres south of chancel of Church of St. Andrew GV II Chest tomb. Mid-C18. Limestone. Plinth, two recessed rectangular panels with central pilaster and corner pilasters, end panels have relief-carved lozenge, moulded flat top with inscription. Thomas Miles died 1749.
