Description
Jasmine Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century, with a 19th-century bay added to the west. It features limestone and flint bands, a half-hipped thatched roof, and brick stacks. The cottage is single storey with an attic and has three windows. To the left of the 18th-century section is a 20th-century door with a hoodmould, and to the right is a three-light and a two-light ovolo-mullioned window, both with hoodmoulds. To the left, there is a three-light 19th-century ovolo-mullioned window with a hoodmould. The attic contains two two-light cast-iron casements on the right and one two-light leaded casement on the left. The initials "WM 1784" are scratched onto the quoin to the left of the door. The right side of the cottage has a 20th-century external stack and a single ovolo-moulded casement in the attic on both the left and right. The rear features two three-light ovolo-mullioned windows and another three-light ovolo-mullioned window to the right, with three two-light casements in the attic. The interior was not accessible during the survey in November 1984.
