Description
There are two chest tombs located in the churchyard, 4 to 6 metres south of the Lady Chapel at the Church of St Mary. These tombs date from the 18th century and are made of limestone.
The first tomb features a cyma table with its base buried. It has a projecting architrave flanked by three floral pilasters on each side that divide the panels. The inscription on this tomb is illegible.
The second tomb also has a cyma table and is supported by three floral pilasters that carry an entablature and separate shield panels. This tomb is dedicated to William Ch***, who died in 1723.
