Description

IDMISTON CHURCH ROAD SU 13 NE (south side) 3/69 Two Bowle monuments in churchyard, 2m south of chancel, Church of All Saints II

Pair of chest tombs. C18 or early C19. Limestone. Low tables with rounded edges and fielded panels to sides and ends. Inscriptions on tables, the north tomb to Edward Bowles, date not clear, the south illegible.
