Description

These 19th-century gate piers and gates stand before Lynes House. The piers are made of cast iron and have a heavy, square-panelled design, topped with a cornice and finials. The gates feature a decorative quatrefoil band at the top and “dog rails” secured by semicircular braces. All the rails have cast iron terminals.
