Description
The Pashen Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 1 metre east of the chancel of the Church of St Cosmas and St Damian. It dates from the early 17th century and is made of limestone. The tomb has a plain design with a heavy chamfered flat top. An inscription on the east end panel commemorates Elinor Pashen, who died in 1634, while the south panel honors George Pashen, who died in 1683.
