Description

The cob wall on the east side of The Old Rectory is a boundary wall, likely built in the 19th century. It is made of cob resting on brick or flint rubble stone footings, topped with thatched coping, and features some concrete block patching. The wall extends from the entrance to the Old Rectory garden, running northeast to the corner next to the footbridge over the River Wylye, and continues for about 7 metres along the northern boundary of the garden.
