Description

The monument to Sarah Powney, located in the churchyard to the west of St. Mary Magdalene's Church, is a chest tomb dating from 1806. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar and features arched, inscribed panels along with engaged corner columns. The tomb is adorned with a moulded plinth and cornice.
