Description

The Pugh memorial, located about 5 yards south of the south aisle of the Church of St Mary Magdalene, is an early 19th-century pedestal tomb made of ashlar. It features a plain plinth, engaged corner columns, an entablature, and is topped with a gadrooned urn finial on a concave-sided pyramidal base. This memorial commemorates Sarah Pugh, who died in 1827. It is positioned near the south porch of the church and is included for its group value.
