Description

BURBAGE HIGH STREET SU 26 SW (east side) 2/28 No 113 (Lothlorien) and 115 (Manor Cottage) GV II

Two cottages in one block. Early C18. Flemish bond brickwork with thatched roof. Single storey and attic, each cottage of 2 bays with gable stacks and stack on party wall. No 113 has boarded "and thatched porch, and 4-panelled door. No 115 has boarded door in open gabled porch. Inner bay of each has small gable with attic window, and faced with mathematical tiling. Leaded windows to 113, paned windows to 115. Flush dormers to outer bays. Interior not seen, may be of interest.
