Description

Lower Farm Cottages is a row of three cottages built in the late 18th century, with various alterations made in the 19th century. The cottages feature Flemish bond brickwork and have a thatched roof, with a tiled bay on the right side. There are brick stacks located between the cottages. The buildings are two storeys high and have a total of six windows. Each cottage has 2-light casements with glazing bars set under flat, rubbed brick arches. The cottage on the left has 19th-century hood moulds over its windows. The doors are plain planks located in gabled porches, except for the left-hand cottage, which has a 20th-century porch.
