Description

No. 109 High Street is a 17th-century cottage constructed with a timber frame and brick noggings, topped with a thatched roof. The building is single-storey with an attic and consists of two bays. There is a service lean-to located behind the south gable stack and a later lean-to at the north end. The entrance is at the rear of the north bay, featuring a boarded door set within a simple boarded porch. The cottage has timber casement windows, and the framing consists of three panels high with straight corner braces. Most of the framing on the front side facing the road has been replaced with brick.
