Description

Hallams is a house dating from the late 16th to early 17th century. It is timber framed with colourwashed brick noggings and has a thatched roof. The building is a single storey with an attic, consisting of two framed bays and an added third bay on the south gable. There is also a cross wing at the north end made of brick with a weatherboarded gable. The framing features two panels high to a heavy bressumer, with a single panel above that includes curved corner braces. The entrance is located at the rear of the house. The windows are paired timber, and there is a stack on the south gable of the framed section.
