Description

Plum Tree Cottage consists of two cottages dating from the 17th century. They are timber framed with rendered and brick noggings and feature a thatched roof. The cottages are single storey, with one raised to include an attic. No 198 has two bays, a central boarded door, and paned timber windows. The framing here consists of two panels high with heavy curved corner braces, raised in slender framing by one panel. No 200 has had its framing replaced with mid-20th century brickwork and includes a late 20th century brick lean-to at the rear, along with a boarded door. There is a stack on the party wall.
