8/89 Queen's Court Farmhouse

17.1.55 II Farmhouse, C18 and possibly earlier. Coursed limestone rubble, rendered and colourwashed on facade. Hipped stone slate roof with dormers. 2-storey and attic. 2 rear extensions also hipped. 5 bays with entrance in right end bay, stone bracketted canopy on 6-panelled door. Margin glazed sashes to ground and first floors. Hollow moulded string course. 2 hipped casement dormers. Extension to right. C19, timber casement windows, slate roof. Interior: clunch stack with timber lintel. Roof not seen. The building stands on site of earlier moated house.
