Description
Upper Panpwnton Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-to-late 18th century. It is constructed of painted coursed limestone rubble and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with integral brick end stacks. There are two gabled dormers that contain two-light wooden casements, adorned with mid-to-late 19th century curved barge boards and finials. The front of the house is slightly asymmetrical, with three windows. The ground floor to the left has wooden cross windows with three lights, while there is an off-centre six-panelled door to the right. This door has four raised-and-fielded top panels and lower flush panels, complemented by a five-part rectangular overlight and a flat hood supported by wrought iron brackets. Additionally, there are small inserted 20th century windows to the left of the door.
