Description
Pentre Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse built from roughly coursed limestone rubble, topped with a slate roof and featuring integral brick end stacks. The building is arranged in an L-plan and stands two storeys high. Its front has three windows; the first floor has late 19th-century two-light metal casements set in wooden frames, while the ground floor has mid-19th-century three-light wooden casements with segmental heads. The central entrance features a six-panelled door, where the bottom two panels are flush and the top panels are raised and fielded, accompanied by a three-part segmental-headed overlight. This farmhouse is part of a larger early 19th-century farm group located in the middle of the hamlet, which includes a cowhouse to the northwest and a barn and cowhouse to the north.
