Description

The Jacob Pinneger monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard immediately south of the west bay of the chancel at the Church of St Giles. It dates from 1789 and commemorates Jacob Pinneger and his wife, Mary. The tomb is made of limestone and features a chamfered base and a moulded table, with a lightly incised inscription.
