Description
The Lodge is a former lodge to Teffont Manor, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with a half-hipped thatched roof and a brick stack. The building is one storey high with an attic and features two windows. There is a 20th-century door located in a porch that has a thatched catslide roof. To the right of the door, there are two pointed two-light casements, and to the left, there is one pointed two-light casement in the attic gable. The right side of the building has latticed porches under a hipped roof, with a two-light pointed casement on the ground floor and a pointed window with leaded pointed lights in the attic. There are pointed planked doors leading to the flanking porches. The rear of the building, facing Salisbury Road, has two two-light pointed casements on the ground floor and one in the attic gable to the right. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in March 1985.
