Description
Manor Lodge is a lodge that served the former Lechlade Manor, likely built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed and dressed stone on a plinth with quoins and features a hipped slate roof with two ashlar ridge stacks. The building is a single long range with a wing to the east and is single storey. The east and south ends are polygonal, with the east end featuring a central 12-pane sash window that has arched panes in the top sash, flanked by blind openings. The south end has two similar 12-pane sashes on either side of a central recessed door, which is topped by an open stone pediment supported by consoles. The door itself consists of six fielded panels. The roadside facade to the west includes two plain 12-pane sashes and a replaced twin casement window at the north end.
